Professor Dan Porat, at minute 20:13 of this video at Ilinois Holocaust Museum in Skokie, declares in a positive note, that a Nazi Oficer who took a famous photo of a child victim (hands raised), had studied Esperanto. For several years he was a positive social individual with progressive tendencies....until he landed in prison.

The photograph for which Dan Porat wrote a book, documenting information about several individuals in the photo, is the lead photo in the English Wikipedia article on The Warsaw Ghetto Uprising:

The Nazi Officer-Photographer in question is Franz Konrad. A Wikipedia article on Franz offers NO redeeming qualities: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franz_Konrad_(SS_officer)
Why is Esperanto worthy of the role World Second Language? Why are national or ethnic languages not worthy of the role World Second Language?
