The Swiss city, La Chaux de Fonds, has maintained a friendly relation with Esperanto, beginning several decades back. It offered the Esperanto community several buildings for purchase or rent. Claude was also responsible for numerous radio shows in Esperanto, whose podcasts are in the "archives" section of http://www.cdeli.org/
